More Than Just Lessons
All you need to know about the program
Each day is designed around active language use, combining structured lessons with real life practice. Through guided instruction, interactive workshops, and daily conversations, you’ll build confidence speaking Arabic in natural, everyday situations. Learning goes beyond the classroom as you hear, speak, and apply Arabic continuously, helping the language feel practical and intuitive rather than forced or academic. The program is deeply rooted in Jordanian culture, blending language learning with meaningful local experiences. From shared meals and cultural activities to thoughtfully planned outings and excursions, you’ll connect with people, places, and traditions that bring the language to life. This balance of education and immersion creates an experience that is memorable, engaging, and truly reflective of how Arabic is lived and spoken in Jordan.

Questions & Answers
Yes! Jordan is considered one of the safest countries in the Middle East and hosts millions of tourists every year.
With that said, we still recommend practising caution and being vigilant wherever you go just like you would in any new place you visit as a tourist.
This program is for two levels:
1) Beginners
2) Advanced Learners
If you are an absolute beginner, this program is for you.
If you have studied Arabic before and have some background, but still consider yourself a beginner (cannot form sentences quickly, cannot conjugate correctly, still make grammar errors and cannot fully understand when native speakers talk to you), this program will still be a good fit for you as we aim to cover all the gaps in learning.
If you are an advanced learner, this program is for you.
As an advanced learner, you can speak and understand (with minimal mistakes) but need to work on expanding vocabulary, conducing conversations and improving comprehension,
We will group you based on your level.
If you are still unsure about your level, please email
with the title "Summer Program Level" and we'll get back to you with more info and a placement test.
Please only do this if you are serious about joining and genuinely cannot decide which level you are
Yes! You can elect to register for the package without accommodation for a lower rate and then book your accommodation independently.
Yes! Eventhough Jordan is very safe, we still urge you to practise caution and be vigilant when exploring on your own.
While we prioritize safety and are there to guide you and support you, please note that each participant is responsible for their own safety and well-being.
We will be teaching the Palestinian/Jordanian Dialect:
This type of Arabic falls under the Levantine dialect and would be understood by the majority of Arabic speakers in the Middle East. This is considered a conversational type of Arabic that is used in everyday scenarios.
Formal/Standard Arabic or MSA (Modern Standard Arabic) is the formal Arabic taught in academic institutions and used in formal scenarios such as news broadcasts, official speeches, poetry and literature. However, it is not really used in day to day practical scenarios. We will not be teaching MSA in this program.
If you are planning on bringing another person or multiple people with you, email us at
with details such as how many people along with any special requests and we'll do our best to offer a better rate!
Accommodation will be in basic shared apartments near the center where we will have our classes.
Each student will have their own private room with a private bathroom. 🛏
There will be a small kitchen with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, and a washing machine.
If you have more questions, we would be happy to help.
Please email support@schoolofyalla.com with your question and we'll get back to you:)
